Zimbabwe International Trade Fair: Over 1500 Visit UN Information Booth

Over 1500 people visited the United Nations in Zimbabwe information stand displayed from 25-26 April 2014 at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) held in Bulawayo.zitf-uninzimbabwe (12 of 36)_0.jpg

The exhibition provided an opportunity for the United Nations to share latest updates related to the Millennium Development Goals and the ongoing discussion on Post-2015 Development Agenda as well as to exchange information first-hand with the communities on the ground. People who visited the United Nations information stand were informed that UN in Zimbabwe support was being implemented through the 2012-2015 Zimbabwe United Nations Development Assistance Framework.

Zimbabwe International Trade Fair is one of the key business development sector trade shows in Zimbabwe attracting over 700 exhibitors. It is held annually in Zimbabwe and attracts business people from all over the world.

President Robert Mugabe officially opened the ZITF which was also attended by Vice President Joice Mujuru and other Government ministers and officials.
